Brand shields?

Brand shields?

I'd like to have found the answer to this myself, but most likely I haven't looked in the right places. In any case, I just got my sponsor account today and was wondering how you get the brand shields for your horses. Hopefully, it's not something ridiculously easy that I should have been able to find. Haha.
