I'm having some chat issues. I can seem to log onto chat but not be able to change my nick name or type anything in the box or i can but it won't "send" so i can converse with others. I'm able to type stuff but when i hit enter nothing happens. I have read: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=165688 and tried the suggestions there. They haven't worked for me. I don't know what to do anymore i just want my computer to run smoothly again and let me do what i want!

I've had issues like that with my Java applet before. Have you tried clearing cookies and cache and all that?
Restarting your browser would usually work too.

I haven't tried clearing cookies and cache yet. I didn't think to since i got a brand new hard drive i'm not the best with computers lol

Would help to know which program you are trying to use to connect.. through the game, mibbit, wikkedwire, etc

I'm not sure which it is, its whatever one that connects through the game. I usually connect to chat through VHR it's self

Have you tried connecting through mibbit website? Sadly, this isn't an issue we can fix for you, as it's related to your java and your computer.

I got that to work now, but not through vhr still. At least i think it's working...it's only showing me the the chat thing

How do i connect through mibbit to vhr chat? Do i just use #VHR as the channel?

Yes, you pick wikkedwire from the drop list of servers, and then put #vhr for channel.
