Upgrade Panic...

So I'm currently waiting for my sponsor to have 6mths added, although my last one was to run through to August...
I've just logged on to check if the sponsor had gone through the system, & my account says its a novice account, and gone back to 0 days... does this normally happen when sponsors are being upgraded?!
I don't want to loose months of sponsor account!

Hope its nothing to worry about :/
