Endurance?! o.o

Postby Danielle_Dawn » Sun Dec 05, 2010 1:04 pm

I've had this problem for a whille with Endurance, and Rain isn't online to answer all my questions, so I'll bug the whole VHR community with it... again ;)

Anyhow- I'm rolling this guy, and I want to move around some stats. So, I raise diet to above 100 (35/15/35/20)
but, instead of going down, Endurance continues to rise by .25 :(
I do have the Fit and Fearless bonus, which is supposed to raise the endurance cap by .25
When I lower endurance when prepping, it goes as normal. Only once endurance reaches 200 do I have this problem.

I don't know if there has been a recent update on heath... but my horse gets colic/recovers every turn that I take having diet raised to (35/15/35/20) and the horse goes down to under half energy. (not sure if this is new... haven't rolled in a long time)

Anyway- I'm just really frustrated.

If you are rolling, make sure you aren't training in anything that will raise endurance. The random bonuses may also negatively affect your ability to roll. I suggest treat injury to roll or training just once in teamwork.

The stat will drop after you take a turn, not during the turn, so if bonuses or what you are training in raise it .25 during the turn, when you take the turn, .05 will be taken off.

Also note, any drop in energy due to diet and if you were to train in anything Endy will raise. Not totally sure about Treat Injury, but any other training will cause Endurance to rise if the energy at the start of the turn is lower than 90%.

Make sense?

That does make sense, I'll start to meth every turn now and see if that fixes it.

This horse is a pony breed, and I only have the WB and Sport bonuses. I've been training in Treat Injury once per turn, so it wouldn't be training or bonuses. But its probably what Jelly mentioned. I'll let you guys know.

**Edit- Jelly was right. It was the energy. I've taken a few turns and its working :) Thanks everyone.

**Edit again- Endurance isn't going up anymore, but its not dropping either. its been 201.7 for four turns now... diet is still at (35/15/35/20) but I can't seem to make colic go away.

Link to the horse? And what you're training him in if anything?

Training only in "treat injury" once per turn.

*sticks nose in*

I think I understand what you are trying to do but I am wrong often =]

If you are trying to reduce endy back into the 200's then increase your diet to 45/15/45/15. Your horse will not colic but get 'obese' and drop by .05 every turn.

Colic will not go away until you fix the diet I believe.
