Making your own bloodline

Postby Mikazi » Tue Sep 15, 2009 3:55 am

Quite awhile ago I purchased my own private breed, but I honestly haven't played vhr for ages (since 07) and I was wondering at what age should I roll the mares/stallions to so I'm pretty much guaranteed to get the right number of foals for the next generation? Sounds silly, but I've forgotten a lot about the game

Well... If you roll mares to 20, you can breed them to age 23 and get 2 foals for each year. Or six foals from her. Or if you have the Better Breeder bonuses (I think its Fertile something or other), you can breed until age 25 and get 10 foals.

Stallions can be bred the same way but you basically get 7 foals for each turn. OR you can roll them to 33, and get 20 foals from an uber stated stud. That also can be said for the Better Breeder. You can roll them to 22 or so and breed them until 25, then use the semen after you roll him to 33 after that. So it really just depends on your bonuses and your preferences.

hopeim not too late!!! you should roll the mares to 18 because you will def. have things that go wrong! i had one mare that i needed to have 4 mares and 4stallions from and instead she threw 6 stallions and 1 mare!! if you roll too high you can't use the mare anymore-you will also get to the point where you'll have to breed 4th gens with foundations or 1st gen for SLIGHT inbreeding. just a tip.

Thanks for the tip! I was pretty worried because I have super studs and I heard that some people couldn't get a mare at all lol.
