I'm not sure if this is right. I entered him in trails, halter showmanship.

Is that the right way to test it?

The proper way to check is the change discipline to Halter. Cure the horse. Trials > Appraise Horse (Conformation Class)

The confo score is Total Breed Similarity Penalty score.

Considering that horse is nearly BC, I doubt he'll have a confo score that low
