Mules?

Mules?

For some reason, when I breed my horse to a donkey I get another horse instead of a mule? Why is that?

Nope, I'll try that, thanks! :) If it does work that way it doesn't make any sense though, not only for the obvious reason but also because a horse stallion bred to a donkey jenny would produce a hinny irl. I wonder what possessed them to make it work that way? :?

I asked for links because you CAN get mules from donkey studs and horse mares, like this fellow: http://www.virtualhorseranch.com/viewho ... se=1820235

However, I've also found out that some breeds of horse don't work to produce mules, be they sire OR dam.

But, of course, nobody can know for sure what the issue is, because no links were provided.

Hence, eyeroll. ;)

I understand why you asked for links and I have no problem with that. The eye-rolling was completely un-called for, however.

Its not really a big deal, is it? I mean... really.
Its a petty smile-y on a virtual forum that means virtually nothing.
Dont let it get to you.

I simply pointed out that it was un-called for, I have not said anything hostile, and no one is making a 'big deal' out of anything. It WAS uncalled for. I'd like to think I could ask a question about something and receive help without being treated like I'm an idiot.

Sick, if you had wanted links you could have just asked for them. I've always been cool with you. I've talked to you many times before. I really don't understand why you had to leave a snarky comment on my post when I politely asked for advice.

I'm not being unreasonable or rude and I'm not 'letting it get to me' I'm just stating my stance on the matter.
