Not keeping their end of the contract

Postby auburnsilver » Thu Nov 27, 2008 10:08 pm

At the beginning of October, I was looking for someone to roll-prep one of my mares for me. I looked on the Training Contracts & Connect on the forums and found someone. I asked on their thread to send the mare over. Person agreed and I sent my mare over in a contract with the correct amount of money. For a week or so, the contract was left untouched. However, I did notice that the person had logged onto their ranch several times but I understood that real life could be busy at times and patiently waited. Soon, the contract was accepted, except the horse was left untouched. After another week or so went by and the person still logged on, so I asked politely when the horse would be finished perhaps, because without this mare, I could not continue on with my breeding project. I got no response, even though I know they read the message because they had logged on several times. A week or so later, the horse was returned to me, untouched. Of course, I was annoyed, and messaged the person back near the end of October, telling them that they had canceled the training contract without ever training my horse. The person apologized and had me send a fresh contract back, with no playcash since I had already payed. Since then, the contract hasn't even been accepted even though I know the person still logs on. I sent them a message 2 week or so back demanding a refund because I could wait no longer. I got no response even though I'm pretty sure they saw the message because they've logged on recently. Even though I didn't pay much, I'm still upset that they didn't even bother to respond to my message. I also know several other people have used their services too since they had posted after me on the training thread, but I do not know if their contracts were fulfilled. What do I do now?

Put a ticket in through Orbis Worlds and be sure to not delete any messages you've sent back and forth so we can investigate.

It depends on how long they are on for, as to wether they see the messages or not. Sometimes I log on, but don't read messages etc. =] So you never know.

But. It does sound sucky :(

Thing is, it's been almost 2 months already =/
I understand some people don't like checking their messages but I sent several, and they replied to one, telling me to resend a contract, so they knew that I was still waiting.
I'm pretty patient most of the time and I wouldn't have minded waiting if the person just let me know they're busy and can't get to it at the moment or they can't keep their end of the contract.
