I know this question has probably been asked before.

Are polo events bound by the 4 per layer rule or can we enter an entire team?

Polo is the only exception. You can enter as many horse as needed to fill your team. So if it's a 10 horse team, you can enter up to 10 horses, but they must all be on the same team, no filling both teams.
