Auction Bot??

Postby BindiCo » Wed Apr 02, 2008 2:18 am

Hi Everyone...I came across a very interesting thing when I found a horse at auction....went to bid on it, and got this instead :

This horse is currently being auctioned, you may view the auction here.

This horse is owned by:
VHR Auction House

And then:

AuctionBot
Owned by VHR Auction House
Player # 104460

View Trophy Room

This ranch is a holding pen only for horses in auctions, it is idle, the messages here are not checked. Your horse is placed here when it is entered in an auction for safe keeping.

What is this place?? What does this mean.....is the horse no longer available even though it shows as being at auction??

Anyone who may have info.....help! LOLOLOL

Thanks all!!

Thats the auction ranch.

Any horse you put in the auction houses gets put there.

Once an auction has run, providing there were bids on it, it goes to the new owner (wither you claim it, or the previous owner sends it to you).

Should no bids have been placed, the horse stays at that ranch until its owner reclaims it.

Make sense? :D

Ok...I think I've got you. So because the auction already ran...the horse sits there and waits for the owner to claim it :)

Thanks Jellybean!

Yup, thats right ^_^

Quite a few people used to do that to hold the horses (before ageless pasture was introduced)
