Possibly a silly question but...

I don't think I've ever had a problem maxing intelligence on a horse...but for some reason it's just not happening with this horse I bought. I've wasted a lot of time trying to max the intel (if I had been less tired last night, I probably would have been smart and stopped to ask then). Now the horse is over eight and I'm not done statmaxing. It's bothering me and I was wondering if there's anything that might be the reason for the intelligence problem.

use arena dressage or obstacle. Horse might have had low intel too. Link?

Are you sure you have horsemanship skill? I've lacked skills before and been like "-dazed look- why isn't this maxed yet??" Lol.

Check your skills too- you could have reset english training which would have an effect.
