If I upgrade my account by sending the money order through mail, does that mean I have to use a check, or can I pay in cash, because I'd prefer to pay in cash? Thanks for everyone's help!!

Cash+mail is never a good idea
If the mail gets stolen, you're basically out of your money.
If you don't want to use a check, try money order that's available at every post office.
