Breeding

I have a leased horse that the owner says the box for breeding is checked,,, in fact it is the only box checked before creating the lease with me.
The mare has come into heat and I can not breed her?
Am I doing something wrong?

Make sure the owner doesnt have the horse on any other leases that arent checked for breeding. If theres another lease that doesnt allow breeding then you wont be able to breed it either.
