Endurance while training

Postby rlr217 » Tue Sep 21, 2010 5:37 am

I have trained a few racers on here and I am working on a horse for a trainoff and I'm so dissappointed with how the horse turned out. I've never before had one come out this bad! I followed a training guide that I have used before and while normally horses finish around 4.4-4.7 years old, I finished a very well stated horse at 5.4 years old. I didn't even get the speed to cap like I normally do, which is really weird, especially for tb's. I was thinking about it and my problem was with endurance. It took me forever to get it to cap. And yes I used meths and tranqs
Does anyone know how much endurance is suppose to raise when you train it?

Let me know if you have any ideas on what's wrong.

usually it raises between 0.25 or slightly more if you do it right each click.
would you mind PMing me the "guide" you use so i can see the errors in it?
that way I can help you better, if you dont feel like sharing it here that is.
I am no longer able to play the game due to real life commitments. I would like to thank all my friends for the past 11 years on VHR. xx

I just tried event training another horse, and it's not endurance that is messing me up, it's speed and strength. It seems like when I use polo it barely moves the stats at all.I think that's the problem. Has anyone else had a problem with this?

P.S. I even tried it on a different training account with different bonuses and it's just really bugging me.

Here is the horse that I tried to do for jumping:
http://www.virtualhorseranch.com/viewho ... se=2099576
Begining stats were:
Sure-footedness: 169.322%
Strength/natural:
(potential): 95% (104.5)
(Amazing)
Intelligence/natural:
(potential): 95% (86.2)
(Supurb!)
Speed/natural:
(potential): 95% (107.71)
(Amazing) >PH
Endurance/natural:
(potential): 95% (96.63)
(Extraordinary)

On him I followed this training guide exactly: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=132081
By step 4 when my SF was at 215, my speed and strength were around 121 and 124...
Any ideas???

If you're training Sport horses make sure you pick up "Sporty Sorts". The random stat gain is helpful especially for racing. For Warmbloods pick up the corresponding bonus.

Endurance should rise .25 per training at least, and under 200 Polo training should raise Str/Speed by about .6 each. If that's not happening then make sure you have Sport Training, not Sport Riding. Above 200 Polo will only raise speed, not strength. If Polo isn't raising stats properly and you have Sport Training skill then...not sure what to tell you.
