Offline points not working?

i had 677 offline points. i added 100 to sport training and then went back to add another 100 to item crafting and it will not add to item crafting it says:

You may add a total of 0 offline points in to this skill. This will bring this skill to 0, Do you wish to add them now?

but i have 577 points available?

did something change i didn't read about?

Make sure you don't have the max of 500/500 or 6 skills. That is the limit and so it won't add anymore.

lol i just realized that-i thought i had horsemanship so that i could get 5 more but ididn't :/
