Question about dressage eventing

Postby chase00 » Mon May 03, 2010 9:19 am

I recently bred my foundation Swedish Warmbloods and I decided to train my first generation in dressage. Upon eventing one of them http://www.virtualhorseranch.com/viewhorse.php?horse=2053317 I found that she placed last in all of the under 7 events I entered her in. Her conformation score in these events was an average 91.58. Would this be because she is a first generation? Any help regarding this question would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about the confy score, but her mood should be Very Mellow.
Make sure you tranq every time you let her "sit" (until events run).
Also,is she tacked?

Yes, she is tacked. I tranqued her to get her mood to very mellow and then entered her in two 5-7 events and put her away. Hopefully it was just the mood but I was silly and didn't catch that :thud: Thank you very much for your advice! I do appreciate it.
