Can someone easily explain what each kind of shoes are good for what- what each type of shoes does for your horse? I need to buy some new shoes for my eventers. ALSO, when I take my traction shoes off my horses, will SF and Movement stay where they are, (225,215) or will they drop back down to the cap of a horse that was trained without shoes?

You can't just take shoes off, you have to replace them. Any shoe will allow the 215/225 cap to stay, no matter if they are traction or not.

Protective Shoes
Basic shoes that slightly raises movement and surefoot.

Traction Shoes
Traction shoes give have a bit of shoe sticking out behind the heal, this helps horses come to sliding stops, very useful in reining. +western skill training.

Light Shoes
Light Shoes are very light weight, to help race horses and barrel racers run faster. +speed.

Corrective Shoes
Corrective Shoes are built to correct problems in the horses step, +surefoot.

Weighted Shoes
Weighted shoes have special weights on them to make horses step higher, they give the horse +movement stat depending on the style.

Padded Shoes
Padded shoes allow protection over lots of use! +endurence.

Draft Horse Shoes
Not just for playing a game of horse shoes, these shoes also help drafts do their primary jobs, +strength

Titanium Horse Shoes
Expensive, but very durable, +speed
