Gymkana Training?

Postby Midn1ghtskyz » Tue Feb 17, 2009 3:06 am

So, I wanted to have some fun training with gymkana, but what do you level in? And I know it is of random, so doesn't really matter what the stats are besides being the standard statmaxed?

Thanks. :)

Just max and level in whatever. :) I have one Gymkhana horse who was originally a Driving horse who didn't do too hot, he's done fine in Gym...same with an old jumper. He tanked in jumping but has won a few mil in Gym...and now I've got a new colt, a Delightful Fresian, who I plan to make a Gym champion (since his breed has both sucktastic stats of MAJOR SUCKAGE and they also have breed type "unique" so they get NO bonuses in ANY events) and he's been leveled in Halter and is doing quite well...born at the BC, he still sucks for normal events but does okay in Gym. :)

Here, check him out! :D

Yes, that is a BC DF. Sad, isn't it? ;)

If HE can win, ANYONE can win!!!!

Thanks Sick! Yeah I have tons of DF stock and I was planning on throwing them into gym. Since they can't do much of anything else. Although, there is a DF that did AWESOME in western ( http://www.virtualhorseranch.com/viewho ... se=1153515) She pwns. LOL

Anyway, thanks :D I love DF's, I didn't know you were into them too Sick! :D

Ech, I'm a masochist. Low stats and crappy breed type do not scare me. ;) Heck, I bred and evented mules before they had their BC raised and before they were breedable...nothing like trying to event the SUCK that was the old-style muleys! ;)

People don't give enough credit to VHR hosses who haven't got godling-stats or whatever. Any horse can be a champion, and I am the champion of the underdog...I mean, underhorse. ;)

Ah yeah, I remember seeing your mules! They kick butt! :P I love my DFs. You should try AE's too. They have just about the same stats, not many people have even trained those. *raises hand* I haven't trained mine yet haha.

Do you use yourself as a rider? Or some other type?

I've been using myself, but if its as random as people have said you could probably throw anything in being riden by anything.

Erh, another question to add. I know it is random, but does it matter of tack on horse?

I don't think I even bothered throwing tack on mine..doesn't mean I shouldn't have it though.

I keep my horse tacked. :D Doesn't hurt and if it doesn't help, it isn't gonna kill me to have that one set of tack unavailable. ;)

I don't have tack on any of mine, but that's because I don't have them on a ranch with Item crafting. It can't hurt anything and it could help, but it isn't necessary.
