It used to make a slight difference in a horse's show career if it had winning parents, does that still apply now that there are the bonuses? Also, if a horse's score was higher it would have a better chance of doing well in an event does that still apply as well? Thanks to anyone who reads or replies!!

I've never noticed the parents having an impact on my eventers. Score matters still, but its not nearly as important as it used to be.
