rolling

Postby Shadow Knight » Sat Nov 29, 2008 7:37 pm

I have just prepped this stallion http://www.virtualhorseranch.com/viewhorse.php?horse=1743921 and I was wondering how to go about rolling? I'm going to guess get intelligence the lowest and either strength/endurance the highest. If thats correct how would I go about getting it there? I've been looking around, but I'm still wondering what would work best. Thanks.

To get intelligence to the lowest, you need to raise strength and endurance. Use Driving for strength, and teamwork for endurance (you'll need to use it three times at least). Keep using driving or teamwork to get strength/endurance to the highest. Then you can start rolling. =) I prefer to use treat injury because you can use it six times a turn without affecting any of your horses stats, and get most experience. =)

You can also just slap a pair of draft shoes on, then train teamwork 3 times like Mythara suggested to get endurance above int. Then he will be rolling the way you want him in one turn. Adjust his strength with driving while shod in draft if you want to ditch the shoes at some point.

Lol, I almost never use shoes, other than traction, when I'm rolling, so I never think of doing things that way. XD It is easier to work out where they'll roll the closer to 200 you keep the stats though. =)

Hehe, I don't do it that way anymore either, unless I buy something I didn't train. I usually have them set up the way I want before they are even completely maxed :D

I'm confused xD rolling has always seem too be the hardest thing to do >.< So I put draft shoes on and strength is 204 while intelligence is 232... Is that right?

Yep that is right. Strength is now 204% and int is 232% But it it the actual stats which determine which stat tiles are rolling so you are halfway there.

By putting the draft shoes on you have raised strength to the highest stat so that will now drop roughly 1% per year. You still need to raise your endurance actual above your intelligence, so three trains with teamwork should raise it to 200.41 which will make int your lowest actual stat at 200.4.

Once that is done, train with treat injury once per turn, or 6 times if you need the xp, but then both str and int will begin to roll. Once their stats are in the correct order, high, low, and the others in between, you might use driving to push up strength to 205.9 then re-shoe with traction. You can see the percents better and not have to remember to subtract 5% every time you want to see how far off str is from a roll.

Mythara has a website with the ballpark %'s that stat titles roll at. It's in the tips/tricks section somewhere under guides. Ex>Am is aprox 185% and Eg>S is aprox 222% and so forth.
