Take the numbers and divide them into the number events the horse has ran in :giggle:

For example: If you horse has a record of 20/10/5 in 100 events, it will have won 20% of the time, placed 10%, and shown 5%, and placed in the top 3 35% of the time.

Well, the horse I need it for has 117/79/71 out of 481, 481 divided by 117 is 4.1111....., but from your example, 117% winning? :?

I ish confused.

You're dividing wrong :giggle:
You divide the smaller by the larger.

So 117 divided by 481 .243, so the horses wining percentage is 24.3%

It's actually the other way.. 117 divided by 481 is .24 or 24% win ratio

20 events (W/P/S): 2/5/5

60% placement( (2+5+5) divided by 20 times 100)
10% firsts ( 2 divided by 20 times 100)
25% seconds (5 divided by 20 times 100)
25% thirds. (5 divided by 20 times 100)

Hope showing the math in my own poopy little way helps you see how I did it XD.

2 divided by 20 = # times 100= %
2 / 20 = .10 X 100= 10%

You times by 100 just to say 10 % instead of .10

The most simplistic way I know of figuring out the W/P/S percentage is like this:

Add your horses W/P/S numbers together.

Add two zeros to that total.

Divide the total by the amount of events your horse has been entered in.

For example, if your horse has a W/P/S record of 12/10/16, and they've been entered in a total of 50 events, you would have this:

12+10+16= 38

Add the two zeros to get: 3800

3800 divided by 50 (events)= 76% W/P/S

Hope this makes sense.. lol =)

All I do is this.. I'll use my horse for example Example Horse
Total Earnings: 7573340
Competition Score: 13256
77 events (W/P/S): 12/15/14
(W+P+S = #)
12+15+14=41

(#/Number of Events=0.###)
41/77=0.532467532

Final Percent is around 53%
Main Ranch- Always looking for realistic goodie dye colors or CFG. Let me know if you have any.
