What do you mean?

It's just a guide. Every zone you go into in game shows you the zone name at the top of the screen. You can then look at the text map to see where you are in the world.
Like the in game zone maps, this one is set up north being the top, south being the bottom.
All players start in the bottom left hand corner, VHR Home.

So if I were at VHR home I could either go north to Viletalker or east to Messy Swamp?

I mean, I have never used a map in a game similar to this one. It's always been a literal map that display zones visually. I was just asking how to navigate this "text map".

Yep! That's exactly how it works. Up on this map is north, up on the in-game zone map is also north. =D
