Reunion Layout Contest: Discussion. Voting open!

The challenge here is to design a unique layout for the VHR special events ranch!

VHR Special Events

Rules:
Must be equine related.
Must be original / unique.
May not be made from one of those free layout generators / templates.
Any images used must be free to use stock images.
Links must be provided for all images used.
Credit links to images must be somewhere on the layout.
All other copyright policy rules apply. Art Rules
Players may submit a maximum of two entries.

Submission info:
Finished layout entries MUST be submitted here: Submissions.
Entry deadline is May 14th. Voting will be held the 15th to the 17th.
Please post the completed layout on a holding ranch or other website so players may view the finished result when judging time comes.


Prizes:
1st: 1yr upgrade
2nd: 6 month upgrade
3rd: 3 month upgrade
4th: Goodie Dye
5th: 1 month upgrade
All other entrants: 1 million playcash

Please note: The contests started early, were done so players had time to be creative and put thought into their submissions. Be 100% certain that what you've done is what you want to submit, because once you hit submit, you can NOT change your entry.

Also Note: Each contest has an entry limit. This limit is per person. Any player found to be using multiple accounts to attempt to enter contests will be fully disqualified from all contests.
Players that are also found to be using friends that do not play, in an attempt to gain more entries by having them create accounts and make submissions, will also find themselves disqualified from the contest. If it is discovered after the contest is over, prizes received by those players in violation, will have them revoked.

Disclaimer: Contests must have a minimum of 6 entries to be run. Anything with under 6 entries at the time of entry deadline will either be extended, or cancelled. Entrants of cancelled contests will be awarded $1million play cash.

From my understanding, the layout has to be coded, correct?

If we make the actual layout, can another player do the coding for us?

Yes, the layout must be coded. As long as the other person knows it's being used for the contest and gives their permission, there won't be a problem with the submission.

I thought it was just design the layout, but didn't have to code. I'll have to ask around and see if I can't find someone to help me :/ lol

iframes that take you directly to auto events?
imap that takes you directly to auto events?
Or none of the above?

If we use our own pictures of our horses, how do we credit them?

The layout is not for the Auto Events Ranch, it's for the Special Events ranch that hosts the things like the Olympics and the Reunion.

Credit for your own pictures is done the same as you would any other picture, just putting your name as the credit source.

Will there be any text area needed in the layout? Like introduction to the special events ranch?
It is kinda hard to design a layout when one does not know how much content space is required.
Looking at the current layout, all there is in the layout is the images of medals and nothing else.

I think it's free to design however you wish. So there is no stipulations or minimum requirements.

The current layout did have more to it, but the old information was invalid now so it was removed.
